Once you have arrived on the web site you will find a "Quick Links" section located on the left-hand side (purple). In that section, at the very bottom, in gray text you will find the "Edit News" link -- click on it. Once this link is clicked, a prompt dialog box will appear (see figure 1-1 below) asking for your user name and password. Enter this information and click "OK".

You will see a large gray screen with some inof in the top left corner.  Click on the HTML Editor link (fig 2).

In this editor is where you will make all your changes and updates. It looks very much like a word processing program and behaves the same way.

**You will see, as the default text "Please check here for up-to-date changes that may affect you."  This is the text you will change, just backspace and then type your message.  The message box on the main BCRD site is formated for this specific size and font, all you need to do is type in your message.

Please keep the news as brief as possible and remember to change the text back to the default after the live news no longer applies.

After you are completely done updating the page in the editor, click on the disk icon in the top left corner to save it (see figure 4 below).

Your done! Please click on the X in the top right corner to close the windows for the Editor and File Directory. You will be automatically logged out.

To see your updates, go to the correct page on the site and click REFRESH on your browser.
