The Age Control Date is September 1, 2020.
2019 Fall Baseball Leagues:
MACHINE PITCH: Kindergarten – 2nd Grade
LIVE/MACHINE PITCH: 3rd – 6th Grade
Live Pitch will play double headers each night. The second game will be Machine Pitch. Girls will always be pitched by the coach during Live Pitch Games.
Team Selection is Tuesday, September 16, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
at the Jonathan Broxton Park Office. Team Selection is for Coaches Only!
Coaches will contact all players once teams have been selected.
Games will be played on Mondays & Thursdays beginning the week of October 14th and will last approximately a month.
FALL BALL KICKOFF IS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH!
PLEASE REMEMBER: At least one parent or guardian must attend a Parents Association for Youth Sports (P.A.Y.S.) certification meeting prior to a player being issued a uniform for the season. P.A.Y.S. Certification Meetings will be held at the Citizens Park Gym. Other P.A.Y.S. Certification opportunities are available during office hours at the Jonathan Broxton Park Office. Please call 706/554-5210 to make your reservation. Space is limited. Without certification, your child will not be issued a uniform. No exceptions!
ATTENTION: Extra belts, pants, socks, etc…will be available for purchase at the Jonathan Broxton Park Office. Supplemental Recreation Accident Insurance is available for $6.00 per participant, if desired. REMEMBER: At least one parent or guardian must attend a PAYS certification meeting prior to a player being issued a uniform for the season. ATTN COACHES: Thank you for all you do!! We really appreciate you volunteering to coach and being a positive role model. Please remember that ALL coaches that participate in games must be certified. Coach certification is MANDATORY!! Your coach application & background check form must be submitted to the Jonathan Broxton Park Office before coach certification. Online coach certification will no longer be reimbursed. No adults are allowed on the field or in the dugout area during games unless they are wearing their recreation department issued 2019 coach’s shirt. No Exceptions!!! You will not be issued a coach’s shirt until you have been certified AND have completed & submitted all your paperwork to the Jonathan Broxton Park Office. Also…coach’s shirts will no longer be issued on opening day…so please have all your coaching requirements completed by the required date…or you will not be allowed to coach your team on opening day.
